The programme is best suited for executive students with a BSc in auditing who would like to obtain an MSc degree to become a licensed auditor. A BSc degree is a minimum requirement to enter the programme. The target audience for this programme includes:

To be eligible for admission to the MScIA, candidates need to fulfil the following requirements:

Applicants who have completed their Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degrees in English, or applicants from Anglosphere countries where the official language is English, may be exempted from this requirement at the discretion of the MScIA Board of Admissions. A statement from the previous university that the degree was in English will be required. At the discretion of the MScIA Board of Admissions, a satisfactory result from one of the accepted English tests might still be requested before a decision for admission is taken.

If the Board of Admissions requires additional information about the applicant’s prior education, language skills, and/or international orientation, an interview with a member of the MScIA Board of Admissions is part of the admissions process. Students are selected based on their previous education, (language) skills, and international orientation within auditing.
Applicants who also wish to obtain a Dutch accountancy license upon completing this Master’s programme will be informed of any missing courses before starting the MScIA and of the courses that they will need to take in a post-master’s programme after completing this MScIA.
